SMART GOALS

We have been making a DLO on Canva about what we have been learning over these past terms. We have been writing about our main 4 subjects, which are maths, writing, reading and inquiry. One thing I liked about maths is that I really enjoyed crooperating with my group and sharing ideas about what the answer could be.

I find it interesting when doing our reading after doing our writing. Whenever I’m talking with my reading group I find it more relaxing and calming because I that’s when I start to understand more of my reading slides.

Through out these terms when working on our main subjects I felt way more comfortable when getting to know the people around me and getting to know if there are quiet or talkative. Although I found it a little hard to find friends I ended up liking a lot more people in my classroom knowing that they seem more comfortable since we all know each other now.

– My new goals are learning how to do fractions in maths.

Through out these times we have been working together I found everything hard at first until getting to know the people around me. I had a lot of goals once I finally met them, I wanted to me smart like them… Be funny like them! Even work more fast like them! My goal here is to work as hard as them! Speech

The last two weeks we have been working on our speeches about Whenua.

Some of the important things in preparation for speaking was OREO – State our opinion, give a reason and evidence a few times then our conclusion (opinion). This was also important for a Speech Presentation.

Others in our school did spoken Word and used rhyme and had rhythm in their presentation. No did Rap and no one did flash talk.

What I found tricky was standing still, and speaking clearly, looking at the audience was petrifying and remembering what I was to say. Have you ever made a speech? How did you go?  Our teacher says she still remembers her first speech at High School and her knees were knocking and she said she mumbled too. Have a look at my speech if you want.

Description Writing

we have been learning how to make a Descriptive Rage Writing. and we are looking and Finding good words for our Writing we have Made two Descriptive Writing Right now one is About A Sport And one is a Dream we had to use good words in our Descriptive Writing. we can use Some good Sound words so that the Reader that is reading our Descriptive Writing makes them Feel like they are in our Story. and we had to make the reader like our story and feel like they are in the story
